They desplayed drive and spirit comparable to the best. Early in the season Joe Sefa was brought up to the varsity team. Later, Ed wismer made the jump. Although the team was weakened by the loss of these two boys, the caliber of basketball was not lessened. Injury and illness played an important role in the success of the team. Char- les Smith, Aaron Brigham, and Lynn Cummings missed action during the season because of illness, Lynn was also out for an operation. The team made a very creditable showing for a record of 6 wins and 9 losses. Because of outstanding ability and sportsmanship, Bob Gordon and Lynn Cumm- ings were selected to join the varsity team for the post season tournaments.
