This year we have enjoyed four special parties Sponsored by the room mothers. Also, some birthdays have been celebra- ted with parties. We have decorated our room for every holiday and for seasonal changes. Our chore chart helped us share the privi- lege of Keeping the room neat. we gave money to the March of Dimes and the the Junior Red Cross and made place mats for use of hospital trays at Easter. Besides our regular work, we completed a book of Grade II Health stories and made posters on health and safety.

ABSENT: Richard Kibbey, Mary Hanna, Michael Robinson, Ronald Simmons, Gloria Allen. Wu' The first graders have had a busy and happy year. Other than the usual work the children have carried out interes- ting projects. The Indians and Eskimos were studied. A toy grocery store proved to be the most interesting of all. The child- ren brought the necessary store articles. Much fun was had learning to add and make change during the buying and selling process. Trips during the year included those to a sugar bush to watch the making of maple sugar, to the Bishop Airport and to a bakery.
