' Q The boys and girls started off the year in the brand new school. They were very good housekeepers all year and kept the desks and the room very neat. The children brought many plants to help decorate the room, and all through the year kept the bulletin boards covered WitH monthly activities. The P.T.A. gave the room a big fish aqparium which was stocked with goldfish. Though we had bad luck at the begin- ning with it, we were finally able to enjoy it. The children had many interesting units this year. One they enjoyed in particular was a study of foreign children. A note book was made which covered the countries of Spain Norway, Alaska, France, Mexico and Holland. The children made a paper village complete with stores, schools, churches, hospitals, and all he trimmings. The 3rd grade ended a very interesting school year with a group of 36 children.
