WG We are 33 in number and have had a busy and happy year. We have enjoyed our work. Especially have we enjoyed our geography for we have visited, through books, pictures, maps, and slide films, all parts of the United States. Some of our work is done in committees and we appreciate the work area adjoining our classroom for this. Our Ameri- can Indian project has been our largest. One of the highlights of the year has been a trip to Greenfield Village at Dearborn, in May. Other events of the year have been parties and programs in which we have taken part.

Besides our regular school work we had time for some extra-curricular activities. Each child made a woven reed basket and shellacked it for his mother's Christmas gift. Our room was a real Santa's workshop. To add to the effect, a huge Santa and his eight reindeer were painted on the north windows of our wing. On the south side the windnns showed the Angel telling the shepherds about the birth of Jesus. We took part in the school carnival and nad a very fine Christmas party. Then came Valentine's Day with BHOUIST party. The year was a very successful one for all the ooys and girls and we wish them all success in the Sth grade.
