The club's activities have been to take pictures for the annual and to study how to take better pictures, to determine causes for poor shots and understand how films are developed and prints are made. All sixth-grade pupils are members of the Junior Red Cross. Suzanne Flemming and Robert Hillier are the class representatives. Three boxes were packed to send over seas. The money for the articles in the boxes was earned by having a candy sale.

ABSENT: Mary Gough, Clark Johnson. afdzagmih The highlights of tne year were three trips. A conducted tour of Bishop Airport was a very interesting conclusion to the unit on airplanes. The train ride from Flint to Durand and back was especially thrilling for those who had never before ridden on a train. In May a visit to Edison Institute Museum and Greenfield Village was enjoyed by all. Three boxes of new and used clothing were sent to the Korean war orphans in care of Sgt. Dan Johnson, brother of Clark Johnson. The class received letters from Dan and his commanding officers thanking them for the clothing and tell- ing now grateful tne Korean children were.
