SKI CLUB EXECUTIVE BOARD The Ski Club got off to a fast start this year and membership nearly doubled from last year. The events of last year so encouraged students that many more were eager to take part in the club acti- vities. The enthusiastic slate of officers and the executive board met several times and made plans for many trips to Little Switzerland on alternating Wed- nesday and Thursday evenings. Two weekend trips were planned H one to Rib Mountain and the other to Pine Mountain. An evening was spent with the Schneegeister Ski Club viewing some thrilling moving pictures taken at Aspen, Colorado. World Understanding Club The World Understanding Club became a new addition to our organ- izations this year for the purpose of promoting better understanding of other peoples of the world. The process of forming the con- stitution and by-laws was the first major step in the formation of this club. Membership has been limited to those who have had a course in World History. Mr. Zoroufy, the sponsor, has stated some of the projects and goals of the club as: Setting up a sister Goodrich High School in Africa un- der the auspices of the Peace Corps, planning various excursions such as to the Field Museum and Museum of Science and lndustry in Chicago, and a trip to Milwaukee.
