Lettermen, Cheerleaders Generate Lettermen's Club Under the leadership assumed by Mr. Richard fLouieJ Gay and his staff of officers, the club achieved the rank of one of the school,s most ac- tive and vital organizations. Among the achievements of the group this year were the Faculty-Lettermen Basketball game and the Lettermen's Dance. The faculty took the upper hand in the game played March 12th winning handily 65-51. The dance was staged March 29th and was hailed as one of the outstanding functions of the year. The annual awards picnic was held with the Dad-Lad ball game at Lakeside park. Funds earned by the group also paid for the annual scholarship award. New Clubs Expand G.A.C. 4 0 0 0 5 9 BACK L-R: Carol Johnson, Mary Wisse, Pam Freischmidt, Peggy Clark, Kathy 0'Connor, Ann Sonnenberg, Karen Rose, Sue Mann. The G.A.C. for 1967-1968 school year was made up of 8 energetic Senior girls under the capable direction of Miss Barbara Call. These 8 girls earned the right to wear the white blazer and G.A.C. emblem by participating in intra- murals and by exhibiting leadership, good scholarship and congeniality. Some of the activities included this year were archery, kickball, volleyball, bowling, basketball, badminton, tennis and softball. Other school sponsored ac- tivities included the sale of pom poms, Red and White Game, many interscholastic meets and the annual awards banquet this spring. This years members were, Karen Rose, Mary Wisse, Ann Sonnanberg, Sue Mann, Kathy O'Conner, Carol Johnson, Pam Freischmidt and Peggy Clark. Sandy Garrett and Sue Schwartz enjoy bad- minton intramurals. l l 1 .A.A.
