B. T. H. S. as Freshmen. We felt as green, as much out of place, and foolish as all Freshmen are supposed to feel. We knew that We were no longer with kids , but with our superiors. So we began trying to be their equals. We lost no time in meeting and electing our officers. 'We elec- ted Russel Ramsey, Harry Pate, and Henry Cockrum as our leaders, and Miss Stiff as sponsor. The entire class went in for athletics, and some of our boys made the Varsity. The yearzpassed altogether too swiftly for some of us. How- ever, twelve of our class quit school. We hope that they will realize their mistake and begin again. After a few months we came back to school-hoping that the rest were as glad to see us as We were to see them. We were glad that we left the adjective-green-behind, but to our d-ismay, we found that we inherited a new name- Wise Fool . The entire faculty was strange to us, but we decided that we wanted Miss Corbly as our sponsor. Our officers were immediately chosen. Since Russel had done so well last year, we elected him again, with Lucille Hill, and Henry Cockrum to help him. We had only forty left, but we soon realized that this was enough to have some wonderful times. Our class has always entered into the diierent activities of the school. We are in the Glee Clubs, Orchestra, Basket Ball, and the names of five Sophomores have always appeared on the highest honor roll. Our class colors are silver and blue. The silver represents the sunshine of our class and our willingness to help others. The blue reminds us to be true and loyal. Our class motto is B-Z , and We intend to live up to this, not only in school, but also in our future lives. -Harry Pate llIlllIIllllllIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIllIIIIIIIIllIIIIIIIIIIIIIllIIllIIIIIIIIIIlllllllllllllllllllllllIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIllllllllIllllllIIllllllllIIIIlllllIllllllIIIIIllllIIIIIllllllIIIIllllIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
