llPQ TllMeklLlL The Bullpups got off the season with a bad start with Ferris, losing 27-21, but retaliated in the next game, tromping Rogers 61-6. The Pups continued this show of power through the season, with the excellent quarterbacking of Nate Swagel and Steve Cronin aided by the fantastic running of backs, Tim Lappano and Joe Hare plus the great kicking efforts of Tom Hodl and Brian Moreland. The Bullpups continued their winning streak with a 28-7 victory over the North Central lndians. The following week spirits ran high when the Bullpups trounced Shadle Park 62-14. Lewis and Clark was the Pups next opponent and the outlook was rdoubtful as to whether or not the Bullpups could defeat LC, for our opponents were undefeated. The game was close but the Bullpups took the Lewis and Clark Tigers 20-14 which created a tie for first. Prep runs off the field after another victory.
