X-ff .L -11 wwtwsa4m4:fiw+ww:re To a priest and spiritual father, the epitome of School Spirit, this year- book is respectfully dedicated. An optimist by nature, it was Father Sprague's avowed task to point out to the students What's Right with the School. He could look on the accomplishments of youth and share their problems and, at the same time, realize something of the wonder of both. He could make the student appreciate his talents, or the lack thereof, and yet not be content with himself until he had made the best of them. School Spirit was Father's byword, and prayer, his secret weapon. He gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of youth by looking for the best in others and by giving the best he had. He lived well, laughed often, and loved much. His life was an inspira- tion and his memory, a benediction.
