Has the drive of a locomotive and the shiftiness of a jack- rabbit. Joe Codd, Senior Scrappy and dependable guard. Vilhen he starts to blush ff-look out! Girls. what do you think of this lad? He gets our vote, too. Aubrey fAubj Rowles, Junior Bulky center. He kept the squad in perpetual good humor. A valuable reserve man. Aub has a secret yen to be a cowboy and keeps in shape by collecting absentee slips. Ray Molitor, Senior All-city end who displayed his versatility in the Shriners' Benefit game. How he loved to smear the opposition's interference. Joe Sweeny, Senior Fleet-footed quarterback. Speed is this fellow's middle name. Marvelous safety man and deadly broken field runner. l53l

Senior Smashing, crashing tackle. Believes foot- ball to be essentially a rough game. May he never reform. Alton Becker. Senior All-city guard. Played in the Shrine Benefit game. Reliable and steady. When he leads the interference the boys are going places. John Madden, Sophomore Giant tackle. John played good hard football whenever called upon. Great things are expected of this boy the next two years. ,,f F ite, Junior Reliable v halfback. Folks expect big things from Fred next fall. He hits hard and is a fine blocker. Les Legacy, Senior Plays guard. Much too good looking to play football. Nevertheless he plays it. And how! Joe Donovan, Senior Wiry reserve end. Joe furnished the opposition many miserable moments. Labors under the delusion that South Side boys make the best football players. Maurice flvlorriej Cain, Senior Big tackle who starred in the Shrine Benefit game. Morrie can play either half of that famous combination, irresistible force and immovable object. He blocked a punt every game last season. Be sure to write Ripley about this. James QJimmyD Koch, Junior Star quarterback and next year's captain. All-city selection and played in the Shrine Benefit game. As a ball hawk he has few equals. A remarkable passer and elusive ball carrier.
