Foreword Carefully gathered within these pages are our cherished memories of classmates, teachers, activities, and all that has been a part of our active school days at Gomer High. It is with satisfaction that the class of 1967 presents this annual not only as a record of 1967, but as a permanent and lasting treasury of the golden moments of our high school years. We would like to express our deepest appreciation to Mr. Markley, our advisor, and to all who have helped in making this annual possible. Dedication It is with love and respect that the class of 1967 dedicates the twentieth edition of the Echo to our teacher and friend, Mary Ethyl Faulkner. With the end of the 1966-1967 school year, Miss Faulkner marks the completion of forty years of service to our school. She has XCEL ALI, tzlvwvfsa ifvmqriaia . taught general mathematics, algebra, geom- etry, trigonometry, French, and English. ln March the Parent-Teacher Association honored her for her faithful service through the years. They also presented her with several gifts and a cake for her birthday. Thank you, Miss Faulkner, for your many years of unselfish service. You have touched many lives in your years of teaching at Gomer. We know you are proud of our community and school, and we are very proud of you. 3
