Dorothy tells us about another of our classmates, Carol Metzger, who is nearby. She which has become very famous is the head of a huge hospital for 1t's research on 'hypo- cheratauseshis,' a dreaded disease. Carol and Dorothy both decide to continue the trip with us. Our next stop is again way off course--back to the States. It is California, and whom do we see but that new young movie star, fanother Elvis, they call himl, and old friend, Dave Sherrick, who is, at this moment, sailing his boat. He takes us all for a ride, and we talk along with us. All of us want to go to the moon, so we push the button, and what do you know--that is where we land?Ll ---- And whom do we see on tie moon? Why none other than the Senior Class President larry Brennemanl! His occupation is grow- ing and eslliog overs. He says that the moon is wonderful for growing flowers and, believe me, you have never seen such beautiful specimen. However, he says that business is not yet too good because some people are still afraid to fly to the moon, We all have turns out to be a delicious picnic lunch on the moon and it a wonderful reunion. We find that all of us have accomolished Quite a bit in the last ten years. It is time for us to go, their homes and work. Diane so we take everyone back to and I return to our posts in the U. , PRoPHEcr Well, here it is, May 28th, the year 1968. Diane and I are just ready to board the Helio-B-lO0 that flies through the air with the speed of light. It is just a new invention and we have consented to be the first to try it out. We were per- mitted to choose our destination and we decided on Russia, where our good friend and old classmate, Michael B. Roeder, is the U. S. Ambassador. Well, we're ready to go so we'll push the button. here already!! --But look! That isn't the Embassy. It like Africa with all those trees and monkeys. There's of black people dancing around a pot with a fire under Harkli Who's that in the pot? Why none other than one -We're looks a lot it. of our dear classmates, Dave Logan. We'll certainly have to do some- thing about that! We fly our Helio-B-100 over to the pot and pull Dave out. He thanks us for saving his life and explainsf that he is a missionary just come to Africa. We ask him to accompany us to Russia, and he is delighted. We again push the button for Russia, but this isn't the Embassy either! It looks like a Fiesta Day in Mexico with the gaily colored dresses and happy people. --Say, who is that familiar looking person selling ntortillasu in that little cart? --Sure enough, there is another one of the grad- uates of dear Gomer High, Doug Davis. We talk to Doug, and tell him of our adventures. --He mentions that we must be sure to see the Bullfight. Rhea Feaster is the Star Matador.-What?l A matador? --We all decide to go to see her.--We purchase seats next to the box which Doug said is reserved honor. The fight is to be dedicated to him. that he has written a marvelous best-seller for the guest of The reason is book on WMexico and the Mexican peocle.H He is now a person of great renoun. It is John A. Metzger. ee--John sees us and comes over to speak with us. we congratulate him on his literary success. We watch the fight. Then John and the rest of us talk with Rhea. She decides to come along with us. --We push the button this time not really expecting to get to Russia. --We don't11 We land in Hawaii! We think this is the ideal chance to visit our Senior Vice President, Tom Frysinger, who is stationed here with the Air Force. ---- We have to wait a while before we can see Captain Frysinger because just now, he is trying out one of the new Double Supersonic jetettes. ----Here he is now! He offers to take us all out and show us the sights. While sightseeing, we run into another old school chum, Vern Cellar! He is a barber on a big globe traveling passenger oceanliner. A very good way to see the world! Both men decide to come along with us on our trio to the Embassy. We again step into the Helio-B-100, wondering if we will, this time, get to Russia. We press the button. --We're in Australia! We decide to see a baseball game, the Championship of all Australian baseball. The teams are the Australian Wolves and the Australian Bobcats. We are just getting settled with our refreshments when we see the coach of the Australian Bobcats. We can hardly believe our eyes because it is another
