Congratulations to the Annual Staff of ' 51 1 In creating this book you have blazed a trail that no doubt will guide others in the future years. In an unusually quiet and efficient way you have done your work and have added another to the already rich leg- ends of Goliad High. You are the Tigers and Tiger- ette s of which we are all proud. May God bless you in these trying times into which fate has thrust you. Congratulations to the staff of the 1951 annual, The Mission, the first to be produced by the students of Goliad High School. With many difficulties and obstacles presenting themselves, you have made a path which will be easier for the students of future years to follow. You have set a precedent by your diligent application to a task that has resulted in this presentation of the worthwhile activities of qui school.
