J’,,1 Wff and dJestament The 1952 Goldston Senior Class being of sound mind and good disposition and considering it is fairly well settled that we are to graduate this year, do hereby devise, give and bequeath our several belongings to the following persons, in this our first and last will and testament. ARTICLE I I o the Juniors, the right to sing as they change classes, also, ten packages of throat tablets. bor the Sophomore Class, a locket containing a list of our mistakes as a class and a trunk containing the records of our scholastic, athletic, and individual attain¬ ments. for the breshmen, our class picture, for their inspiration when the way seems hard and long. bor our teachers, a signed testimonial stating that we have come through our high school days with an unexcelled record in the matter of heart action and cranial expansion. lo Goldston School, a large barrel of sparkling gratitude drawn from the deepest wells of memory, and kept cool and refreshing by large chunks of cold common sense supplied by the Principal. ARTICLE II lo Johnnie Gaines, Phillip Gaines’ place as quarterback on the football team. Io Elvette Mclver, John Oldham s position as bell ringer. To Elva Oldham, Isabelle Campbell’ s size. To Jeter Dowdy, Gordon Elkin’s gift of gab. To George Caviness, Roger McMillan’s place as captain of the football team. Io Sylvia Fields, Victoria Moore’s place in the Beta Club. To Augusta Hancock, Jearline Hancock’s place on the basketball team. To Peggy Harris, Pearl Elkin’s ability to hold a man. To Jean Taylor Johnson, Ruth Elkin’s dependability. lo J. I. Griffin, Betty Ruth Campbell’s studiousness. To Margaret Sharpe, Anna Poe’s title of “Best-all-round.” Io Leonard Barber, Billy Cullipher’s place at the radiator. T° Jackie Miller. Donald Barber’s place as co-captain of the football team. 1 o Raymond Elkins, Hal Oldham s position on the paper staff. lo Maxine McIntosh. Eloise Gaines title of “Homecoming Queen”. To Shirley Wilson. Kate Wilson Oldham’s ability to play basketball. Io Shelby Wicker. Marie Powers’ place as co-captain of the basketball team.
