The knight spurred his steed toward three-one-jive The squire in his wake just South of the guide And on through the dark, fifteen knots was his speed In search of a Dragon-good knight, squire and steed With his lanterns extinguished, yoke buckled tight Condition III set, he stormed through the night. But where are we going? Asked his squire in a fright To find a fierce dragon- To find him and fight! But why are we here ? , the squire did repeat Because we were sent by COMSEVENTI-IFLT By whom ? said the squire, as he scratched at his head To the knight it was clear, The Employment Sked Comprehension beyond him, the squire shook his head Never fear , said the knight, Twas your fate to be led But it doesn't make sense , said the stout little squire Besides, I oe no taste for dragon and fire Cl ll Cl Let delusions not plague you , quoth the bold fearless knight COMDESDIV TWO FIVE TWO is with us tonight What appears not to be-whatever you fear Tremble no longer--the staj' makes it clear They'll find us a dragon, someone will be slain Have faith in their guidance, though confusion may reign 64 So onward they ride, their banners unfurled To search for a dragon to the end of the world 'Tis the end of a chapter, not the end of the book We'll be back again for another look But for now--though the outcome be far from clear From the GOLDIEH to all-A HAPPY NEW YEAR Bu LTJG Joseph Picker!
