EARL DAVENPORT Administrative Assistant Serving as Administrative Assistant is Mr. Earl Davenport. He helps Dr. Shope and also works with the business administration. Mr. Davenport was a teacher at Goldsboro Junior High School before assuming his present position. --1-

The board is composed of ten members who meet once a month with Dr. Shope to discuss and settle the problems of the high school and grade school students. Mr. William Dees, who is a prominent law- yer in Goldsboro, is chairman of the board this year. His achievements in the field of edu- cation are recognized throughout the state.
