WNFR To be a part of GHS and to experience the life here is both rewarding and enjoyable. All events at our school become memorable occasions in our book of memoirs, whether it be an assembly, a magazine drive, or a graduation. The present Goldsboro Senior High School building which was erected in 1927 proves to be quite an impressive picture. Since that time, however, two additions, a gymnasium and a west wing, have been added. Miss America - 1960 When Lynda Lee Mead, Miss America of 1960, visited our cam- pus last year for the Miss Golds- boro Pageant, she was given a most enthusiastic welcome by our student body. For this reason, she was cho- sen to judge our GOI-IISCA Queen competition. I4
