The present Goldsboro Senior High School building which was erected in 1927 proves to be quite an impressive picture. Since that time, however, two additions, a gymnasium and a west wing, have been added. Miss America - 1960 When Lynda Lee Mead, Miss America of 1960, visited our cam- pus last year for the Miss Golds- boro Pageant, she was given a most enthusiastic welcome by our student body. For this reason, she was cho- sen to judge our GOI-IISCA Queen competition. I4
