Sincere congratulations, not only for your graduation but for all the splendid work you have done for yourselves and your school. I urge you to continue with the strong de- termination which you have so faithfully demonstrated here at GHS. it is only through continual labor that you ,will contribute to and reap the benefits from this approaching Atomic Age. Thank you for the splendid help, the high ideals and the service which you have ren- dered during your stay at GHS. May all your goals be reached, and may you continue to work for peace and good will to all men on this earth. To The Seniors of 1 959: Please let me congratulate you on this most important event in your young lives. My hope is that you will not think of this as being a stopping point but the beginning of a period of usefulness and service to the people of your community and country. You must re- member, too, that life in the immediate fu- ture will be far different from what it was during the same period in your father ' s time. You will of necessity have to continue study- ing and working or else you will begin to de- cline. As graduates of Goldsboro High School my sincere hope is that you will continue to grow until you have reached the full capacity of eager students in complicated surround- ings. My best wishes go with you as you face this new life.
