Boqs' League The Boys League has devoted most of its time this year to improving the ef- ficiency of the fire drills. They have checked the equipment, estabhshed wardens on each floor, and tried to get the building emptied a bit faster at each drill. Through their efforts, the fire drill has been greatly improved. The officers are: President, Jim Layman; Vice President, Charley Swan; Sec- retary-Treasurer, Jerry Miller. Torch Honor The Torch Honor Society is composed of the sharp-Witted, intellectual students who have an average grade of B or above. Its an honorary group whose portals are only opened to those With the proper scholastic ability. Wearers of the gold-torch pin are: Maxine Binns, Shirley Hansen, J im Layman, Marion Ledford, Janice Spalding, A1 Wilke. Ruth Wolverton. Those wearing two-bar pins are: Shirley Branton, Lucille Forrester, Frances Hockett, Ruth Sutton, Marjean Wilson, Joyce Wolverton. First year students wearing the one-bar pin are: George Brock, Eugene For- rester, Mary Goss, Ivin Hansen, Mary Ellen McCartan, Phil Riches, Juanita Rude, Eloise Stiff, Laverne Yeley.
