LG Decbcafion MRS. MARYC. LEMANN How does one begin to Write a message of this nature for a teacher like Mrs. Lemann. All of the Words descriptive to professional excellence and good citizenship belong here. With this approach, the yearbook staff respectfully dedicates the 1966 KNIGHT to Mrs. Mary Lemann, a teacher of Special Education and Social Living here at Golden Valley for the past eight years. She earned her B.A. degree at the University of California at Los Angeles, and has done graduate work at Claremont, Western Michigan State, and the University of California at Berkeley. Mrs. Lemann is a member of the National Education Association, California Teachers Association, and the San Bernardino Teachers Association. She is also active with the PTA and the PTA Board. Her activities Within the community include memberships on the San Bernardino Council for Exceptional Children, the St. Bernardine's Hospital Guild, Holy Rosary Church and the Holy Rosary Parents' Club. Again, the staff of the 1966 KNIGHT counts it a privilege to dedicate this issue to Mrs. Mary C. Lemann. 2
