President Bernt C. Opsal During the past two years you have been in the pursuit of knowledge and understanding. You have sought to know and to understand more about your- self, your fellowmen, and the world in which you live. You have also had the opportunity to know and to understand more fully, through a study of God's Word and fellowship with other Christians, what it means to have jesus Christ as a personal Savior and Lord. This is an ongoing experience which can continue the rest of your life. You will need to discipline yourself to continue in this pursuit. He will help you if you let Him. Seek the Lord daily through His Word and in prayer. Enjoy the companionship of fellow Christians. Serve your Lord, your church, and your fellowmen through your chosen vocation and Christian service in your everyday life. We shall pray for you every day. Remember us in this ministry. God bless you.

li it My first year at the college fi has provided an enjoyable change of pace in my life. The antics of students are always intriguing. . . and so C are their accomplishments. 1. I think we have a great group l of kids on our campus, and I am pleased to be associa- A ted with them. David Anderson Several years ago Dr. Ove A A Olson, my predecessor as dean, included these words in the paragraph he wrote for the Reflector : Never stop praying, learning, growing, and serving. If you can somehow manage to do all of these things during the span of your lifetime, you will have accomplished something very worthwhile. ln addition, you will have set an example that you can be proud to have future students at GVLC emulate.
