Typing and Spanish 114'-M Taught Here Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the country - comes rattling of the typewriter keys. Miss Bliss's students in three typing classes acquire a most useful skill. Her Spanish students fulfill the required two years of foreign language for a college course, besides they en- ioy Spanish meals and a biennial trip to places of Span- ish history in the area. ln addition she teaches the freshmen class in English. I v ,J l. Books are to be tasted Since coming to Golden Gate Academy lfliss Fitzgerald has devoted her time to helping stu- dents with books. Each year the library budget has been spent on new books that are needed tor reference or for general reading. ln order to pro- cess these books and help students with their problems a library science class has been taught. Books are a part of English classes always-- think of those books to be read each six weeks! Then there are reports in world history and American history to be dug out of books.
