LEE NUGGAET 1930 5' GOLD HILL HISCHOO.. Qzkflf Baile! 93611 Mrs. Paul Angstead, wife of the boys coach, was asked to coach the girls' basket-ball team this year. Mrs. Angstead played four years in Lakeview High School. and two years at the University of Oregon where she was on the All-Star team. The team appreciates the help which she has so willingly given and hope that she will act as coach again next year. I.UCII.Ll2 HITTLIQ-Lucille, Captain of this year's team, played forward. She was a steady and fast player and will be a great help to the team next year. JEAN CHISHOLM-Jean was the leading scorer for this year's team. This was Jean's first year on the team and she played hard. The team will be glad to have her next year because of her experience. MILDRIEID VVYATT--Mildred played side-center, and the team would have been weak without her. She was voted the most valuable player for this year. She will also be here for next year's team. RUTH GREEN-Ruth, a Freshman, played center and was a real center. She always got the tip-off because of her height . .She has three years ahead of her, and if she keeps on improving, she will be a great help to the team in the future. JIEXYEI. QUAKENHUSH-Jewel was a very good guard. but at the last of the year she was shifted to 'forw'ard,' a place that she hlled remarkably well. This is her last year, and she will be greatly missed next year. AILIEEN GUY--Aileen, another freshman, played guard. She played- hard, and her opponents had a hard time trying to score. NETTTIE STONE-Nettie, another freshman, played guard. She was out the latter part of the season on account of sickness, but she was very good at the first of the year and will be here for next year's team.
