THE NUGGET 1930 5 CEOLD HILL P1LSCHOQl: 'i-' i uzzzbr Clan' H zktory Jean Chisholm - President Linsley Dorman Vice President Mildred VVyatt - Secretary Lucille Hittle S'g't at Avrms There are six members, three boys and three girls in the Junior Class. During our Freshman year we had an enrollment of nine members. The entire class made their letters in basketball this year. Logan Gardner was Cap- tain of the boys team and Melvin Sargent was high point man. Lucille I-little was the Captain of the girls team and Mildred VVyatt was chosen as the most valuable player. All the boys turned out for baseball and trackg Logan was pitcher for the baseball team. Lucille Hittle was editor of this year's Annual. Jean Chisholm was the Grade News reporter for the paper and Lins Dorman was the Athletic and general reporter.

To the Sophomore Class our privilege to skip school. To the Freshmen we do bequeath the learnings of us, the sophisticated Seniors. To Mr. Meisinger our good-naturedness. To Mr. Angstead some good basketball players. To Mrs. Campbell the lessons for driving a Hudson car. To Miss Orr a larger car so that we can go places. VV'oo-die Shaver to Lucille Hittle, another boy to take his place after he has graduated. Carl Palmer to Ernie Kell, his great big he-man form, especially in a bathing suit. Jewel Quakenbush to Wilna Poe, her fiery disposition. john Chisholm to VVilliam. Conner, all his precious time and ability to beautify his hair. Chas. Smith to Teddy Ritter, his winning ways with the girls, especially Genevie Stumbo. Evelyn Thompson to Kenneth XVald, her ability to obtain high grades. Wa1're11 Kelsoe to Linsley Dorman, his ability to know great big beautiful blondes. Leona VVheat'ley to the Ferrys' her curling irons. Jewel to Eugenia her ability for getting jealous. VVoodie to Logan, the use of his Essex every once in a while. Carl to Bill Hammersley his love for Minnie. john Chisholm to Clarence Kell, his ambition to become a good catcher on the baseball team. I Charlie Smith to Ruth Green, his ability to stay short. VVe have not found out yet what he uses. Leona VVheatley to jean Chisholm, her ability to remain peaceful and never quarrel with anyone that will quarrel with her. Warreii Kelsoe to Nettie Stone, his love of throwing slams at other people. jewel to Melvin. her love of fighting with Eugena.

Six verdant Freshmen entered High school in IQ23. On October 25. we were initiated by the Sophomores and became full-fledged higli school students. This year four of our original number: Zelda Smith, Minnie Harrison, john Fleming and Roy Stone, and two new students, Xvllllfl l'oe and Hill Connor, enrolled. Shortly afterl the opening of school Roy Stone joned the U. S. Marines. On Uetober 19. we initiated the Freshman class, although we had little success as they outnumbered us by far. Three members are enrolled in the Glee Club, one in Orchestra, and two girls turned out for basket-ball.
