Class We, the class of 1959, of Goffstown High School, town of Goffstown, county of Hillsborough, state of New Hampshire, being of unsound mind and memory, do hereby declare this to be our first and last will and testament. To Mr. Holmes, the Senior Problems Class leaves all the pleasant memories of the delightful fourth period. To the remaining members of the girls' basketball team, this year 's senior girls leave the task of arguing for and keeping girls' basketball as a school activity. After all, Mr. Moulton, it's traditional! To the custodians, we, the senior class, leave our extreme ability for keeping the rooms and corridors spotless. To Mr. Sweet, the seniors leave memories of a lively chemistry class. We now have knowledge of everything that pops, smokes, and explodes. Beware world. . .here we come! To Mr. Simpson, the senior trigonometry class leaves all its complaints about homework and test marks. To next year's yearbook staff, this year's staff leaves the benefit of its experience. To anyone who dares to wear it, Pete Athearn leaves his Swiss mountain climbing hat. To her sister, Anne, Jane Backus leaves her ability to keep from going steady. To Shirley Shatney, Phyllis Bailey leaves her position as class pest. Bob Barnard LEAVES. To Peter Swanburg, Bud Batchelder leaves what is left of his car. We truly hope that Pete has better luck with it than Bud has had. To any girl in the Freshman Class, Louise Belanger leaves her talent for dating the same guy for four years. To Bette Miles, Rick Bristol leaves his red hair. The Junior Class can use a red-head. To Barry Riddell, Tom Brown leaves his Studebaker, or should we say his steady-breaker? To Jim Philbrook, Charles Chapman leaves his parking space. To any girl who wants it, Sue Cunningham leaves her seat in the Puritan. To Andy Harden, John Davis leaves his flirting skill. We know Andy will make good use of this valuable asset. To Ken Watt, Carole Desruisseaux leaves her height of 4'10 . To Steve Kehas, Bob Draper leaves his ease at getting along with Mr. Konieczny. We regret to say that Jean Dunsmore leaves nothing. She's taking it all with her. To anyone who has the habit of going to school, Jackie Fellows leaves her left over paper, pencils, and books. To Sharon Simpson, Connie Florand leaves her pixie haircut. To Pam Harden and Jeannie Martin, Dottie Grant and Claire Gagne leave their shyness. This gift should prove very interesting. To the incoming senior class secretary, Bruce Gilbert leaves his skill at getting out of giving secretary reports. To Janice Bristol, Deanna Goodwin leaves her talent for falling off horses. 26

Jeani Dunsmore, Nancy Smith, Jane Backus. Profile Boys' State began on June 22, 1958 at the University of New Hampshire for some 200 boys. Rep- resenting Goffstown were Bob Draper and Jon Tack. They learned about our government and, at the same time, met many boys and made many friends. Granite Cirkf State Nancy Smith, Jeani Dunsmore, and Jane Backus were the lucky ones chosen to attend Granite Girls' State from Goffstown. Their week was spent in much the same way as the boys'. Qlt has all the answers in itj her brother, Charles, Jane Lee leaves her ability to make the honor roll. any experienced truck driver in the future senior class, Lucy Hall leaves the two parking spaces that her truck occupies. his brother Ralph, Ronnie Henault leaves his dancing ability. Jeannette Lefebvre, Ruth Hoitt leaves her acting skills. Jeannette is sure to play the leading role in all the plays. Geoffrey Griffin, Richard Hotchkiss leaves his appetite. Now we can be sure that Geoffrey will grow as big and strong as Rick. Red Moller, Robert Huot leaves his first period study hall privileges. Charlie Conrad, Paul Lebrun leaves his haircut and a month's supply of hair tonic to keep it in place. anyone who likes water, Shirley LeFleur leaves her misfortunes at knocking over water bubblers. Melvin LeBlanc, Marie Lefebvre leaves her quick service that she leamed while working at the Hitching Post. Mr. Sweet and Mr. Simpson, Cliff Martel leaves all the broken beakers, flasks, and test tubes which he seems to have a knack for breaking. anyone who likes a steady job, Sylvia Marshall leaves her position in the ticket cage. his sister and her boyfriend, Bob Morgan leaves all the time they want to themselves on Friday nights. Joan Paradis, Nancy Mudge leaves her ease at getting out of classes. . .officially, no less! anyone who likes to hunt, Pete Olson leaves the privilege of having the first day of Decem- ber off. Dick Lanseigne, Lorraine Ouellette leaves her keen sense of humor. the future class advisors, Ken Read leaves a bottle of aspirin and an understanding mind in order that they may maintain an objective class meeting. anyone who wants it, Gerry Richard leaves his ability to get along with teachers. Let's hope that many will claim this valuable talent. anybody who dares, Roger Roy leaves his skill at playing hookey successfully. Tony Roy, Sylvia Sevigny leaves her legal privilege to leave school at two o'clock. Tony, no doubt, will use this privilege regularly. Kathy Merrill, Nancy Smith leaves her musical ability to keep the chorus rocking. Tom Katsekas, Jon Tack leaves his tremendous speed on the basketball team. This will surely put us in the tournament next year. his sister, Maita, Pee Wee Whipple leaves the good marks that he regrets he never got.
