' x X Y Musically the school year of '56 57 has been a very fruitful one for Goessel High School. The a cappellachoir has received favorable compliments for their singing at various appearences throughout the year. Members of the a cappella and the Boys and Girls' Choruses have taken part in the vocal clinic and music contests receiving high ratings. The band, largest Goessel has ever had, has also done well. The marching band has appeared at the State Fair in Hutchinson, participated in the Band Day activities at Wichita University and at the Homecoming at Bethel College. The band was host to the League Band Clinic in November. The band members also took part in the music contests. The pep band added to school spirit by playing at all home basketball games, The entire music department presented a Christmas program in December and gave a final Spring Concert in May. f'1,J up F J B M A I I T s xg . 11.
