After the exams had taken place and the new semester had begun, new classes formed. Some girls turned their high school curriculum to the co-operative pro- gram, designed to allow each girl who took commercial subiects to work It articles, and columns. With every student settled into his new position and anxiously awaited Spring iust around the corner, the Seniors looked forward to the tinish of their high school career. !'r3'1 and attend school both, still receiving full credit. The school newspaper, The Wolverine Edition, came out every two weeks through the Journalism class. New ideas were presented to the students in the form of stories, 4, YF' V it ltd

The Christmas season came around and the school got into swing with the yuletide spirit. The A'Cappella and Band put on a Christmas program, which took the place of the usual Cantata, and everyone who attended enioyed the new arrangement. The feeling of giving was well stressed by the clubs with their gifts to the needy. Christmas trees were set up in the hall by the Student Council and the Red Cross for everyone to enioy. Ah! Christmas vacation . . . The students celebrated at an afternoon school party of singing and dancing. Both teachers and students participated. After returning from vacation, final preparations for exams were completed and changes took place on the campus and in the students. At this point in the year it is more difficult for the students to get-up-when-it's-stilI-dark, only to return to the routine curriculum especially after the exciting holiday season.

Swv The sun looked down on the Godwin campus and awakened each part of nature with its warm, fresh smelling air. Spring meant the end forthe seniors. It meant all final plans were being made and the closing of school drew nearer. Typical of spring, music played an important part in the season. The A'Capella presented their operetta, Mikado. Young voices, too, followed the example set by the senior high students with great enthusiasm. Vi Lf.
