President, Dave Sheler, Class Ad1'ixo1'.f, Dean Hubbard, lrene Ryno, Vice Prexident, Lois Brown, Treasurer, Martha Vandcrpool, Mirsing, Secretary, Marilyn Mulder. Class of 'Sl Oh, to be a Senior. That was our dream all through our school years, and the closer it came the more anxious we got. Now we're having our turn. lt's a lot of hard work and responsibility, but Oh, what fun! Our activities started with the junior, Senior Mixer held in the gym, but we still remained faithful to our boys on the football team by coming out every Friday night, and having still more fun at the dances following the games. Then the Senior Play was chosen, the cast se- lected and weary forms could be seen, nightly, dragging themselves to and from the library, but our joy was complete when all our work finally produced the hilarious GOOD NIGHT LADIES.', While some were work- ing on the play, others were fast and furiously trying to make the Hoat for our Homecoming Queen and her court, the best ever made. This too was made a reality with the Homecoming parade followed by faithful fans and the dance, with its return of Alumni. As football season ended and basketball began, the production of the 1951 Wolverine began also. Work, work and more work. Everyone worked feverishly, pasting pictures, typing copy and anything to meet the deadlines which always crept up so fast. The Senior trip took the limelight next. Every- one, but mostly the girls spent hours packing. Butterflies were the main content of our stom- aches the day we left, but in no time at all we were back home again. And now as we wander through the halls of dear old Godwin, the halls that re-echo the times we've spent inside its walls, We hear the strains of Pomp and Circumstance and realize it is time for us to graduate . . . into the world.
