' rv A nr ' if -we 'wifi Class of '41 As this was their hig year, the juniors' thoughts were naturally turned to moneyVmakV ing projects. The Seniors had to have a won' derful Banquet or else. The Radio Rafile was their first undertaking to catch the students' eyes, Everywhere we turned. we heard, Wrni1ld you like a raffle ticket? Theylre ten cents each, three for a quarter. Some of their other projects were ski'l1o and ice cream sales, movies, the selling of Shrine Circus tickets, and glory knows what else. The money just seemed to roll in. The Homefcoming Dance given hy the juniors was an outstanding event. The Swing Band played hoth sweet and hot, and the floor show gave us everything from jazz to Russian enterV tainment. Class of '41 Imagine two of Godwin's nicest young ladies engaged in a lusty hattle. It must he great L-- he a memher of a family like that. To top off the year, the Seniors were given a heautiful hanquet. If you heard any eommo' tion in the halls, it was the woodenfshod Juniors. In An Old Dutch Garden certainly gave them a wonderful hanquet idea. Rememf her the orchestra -ff' Ev Hunts at that sitting in a wooden shoe? fl wonder how it feels to he the heel 7j The panels along the sides of the gym were gaily decorated with Dutch figures. The wooden shoe suspended from the ceiling was very effective. The entire evening was a happy one which the juniors and Seniors will long remember. To hring the year to a successful close. jalopes were hauled out of the garages and everyone went to the picnic. Life is wonderfull lsn't it?
