Revivals and Camp Meeting at G'od's Bible School One of the outstanding features of school life at God's Bible School is the emphasis upon revival. We regularly schedule a revival for early fall, and another for mid-winter. Class work is either suspended or greatly reduced for these few days. Work schedules are rearranged, and everything possible is done to make these revival times sessions of great spiritual emphasis. From year to year these revival periods have been the time when many of our young people have met and faced spiritual problems, and they have found a way whereby those problems could be settled. This emphasis on revival is a part of our program of stressing spiritual values. We believe that the greatest need of young people is a spiritual need, and that above all else one needs to know that he is right with God. Only when spiritual values are given the prominence that they deserve can other issues of life be adjusted in a truly proper manner. Our fall revival began Friday night, September 21, and continued through Sunday night, September 21. The engaged speaker for this occasion was Rev. Luther Cantwell, District Superintendent of the Indianapolis District of the Church of the Nazarene. The singing and special music were provided by members of the faculty and students at the school. From the very first night of the scheduled meeting to the close it was evident that the Spirit was working in the hearts of the young people. Many young people responded to the wooing of the Spirit. There was not a single occasion when the evangelist gave an altar call that there were not seekers at the altar. Brother Cantwell's preaching was clear and definite, stressing the glorious possibili- ties of grace through the Lord jesus Christ, and showing the conditions that must be met to find that grace. We appreciated the old-fashioned type of revival emphasis which he gave. On Sunday morning, january 25, our Mid-winter Convention opened with Rev. Eldon Martin, pastor of the Dayton Northridge Wesleyan Methodist church, and Rev. Charles Felsburg, pastor of the Madisonville Pilgrim Holiness church, as the evangelists. Revival spirit broke our in chapel, pre-convention prayer meetings and in high school prayer meeting before the week's meeting began. God is so good and so merciful to us, we certainly do appreciate His love and blessing. Thank Thee Lord for the glorious plan of salvation. Friday night, Mary 29, through Sunday night, june 7, will be camp meeting time. Our evangelists are to be Rev. R. G. Flexon, Rev. S. I. Emery, Rev. C. B. Cox, and Brother and Sister Crouse.
