Typist FOREWORD We build our future on the accomplishments and failures of the past. We only hope that we can live up to the standards that have been instilled in us at Gober High School. We wish to present the 1963 Plowboy in the hope that it gives an accurate record of the events of our past school year. DEDICATION We, the Annual Staff of 62-63, wish to dedicate the 63 Plowboy to Mr. Wayne Roberts, our sponsor. We sineerely thank him for his wonderful cooperation in helping us to organize our many class activities, and would like to compliment him on his ability to have fun with young people. We wish him the best of everything in the future. THE ANNUAL STAFF SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE The need of a high school education, as a minimum, is more evident today than ever before in our history. In this highly competitive society in which we now live, it is most important that we prepare ourselves to meet competition.
