I. Larry Bradley, will my curly black hair to Greg Gilmore and my height to Billy Horsfall. I, Joyce Colwell, will my ability to get along with Mr. Linard to my sister Doris and my shortness to Q. Tom Roth. -I Dorothy Dixon, will my long blond hair to Doris Burdette and my giggling in Home Economics Class to Verna Beal. I Everette Dixon, will my job as manager to anyone that wants it and my ability to stay away from the women to Ed Shull. I, Roger Edwards, will my job at the store to anyone who can lean on a broom and look important and my craze for girls to Don Schreiner. I Betty Grosenbacher, will my glasses to anyone who wants to put up with them and my height tc Betty Jones. I, Larry Hines, will my false teeth to Steve Hamilton and my roller skates to anyone who afford tc keep them working. I, Sarah Horsfall, will my writing left-handed to any right-handed person who thinks they can write any better with their left hand and my good grades to Verna Beal. I, Patsy Kugler, will my job as head majorette to the luckier one of Joan or Janice and my stoutness to Mary Ann Begland. I, Wilma Mauderly. will my natural curly hair to Mary Ann Rauzi and my disposition to Eva Bosley. I, Jerry McKeown, will my freckles to Don Schreiner and my short fingernails to Janice Biggs. I, Eldon Miller, will my ability not to go steady to Jim Foote and my hair cut to Dale Spencer. I Delores Rank, will my ability not to miss more than a couple of days of school in high school to Ken- neth Conner and my good health to Verna Beal. I, Paula Schreiner, will my ability to jitterbug to Phil Rentch and my long blond hair to Harold Addy. I JohrihShull, will my good grades to Tom Herbert and my green port-a-walls to anyone who can stand em. To Mr. Padgitt, we will a journalism class that will work. To Mr. Larrick, we will an English class that will use a dictionary. V To Mr. Scott, we will a basketball team that will go all the way next year, and a health class that will ask questions and argue with him. To Mr. Cramlet, we will a quieter sophomore class during the five-minute period. To Mr. Linard, we will a commercial class that will not fall behind his schedule. To Mrs. Begland, we will a smaller eighth grade next year. To Mrs. Virtue, we will a home economics class that will baste before they start sewing. To Mr. Virtue, we will quieter halls at noon . To Mrs. Gallagher, we will a larger art room. To Mr. Gordon, we will an industrial arts class that will do something besides loaf. To our cooks, Grace, Olive, and Freda, we will girls with appetites like our senior girls. To Abie, we will a senior class that will pick up their feet when he wants to sweep. 0112155 Hrnpherg Dear Ifrirvlds and Alumni of I fIIII1ll'lIlIllHt'll Iliglz School: I have just recently finished my l0l1I'0f ihe world and have noted that the class of 1957 has left its mark on the world. My first stop was in Hollywood California where I saw Jerry lVIcKeown and-Betty Grosen acher. Jerry is now the owner of his own movie studio and Betty is one of his star actresses, and they told me that Everette Dixon was running for governor of California and had just recently married his opponent's daughter. After leaving California I boarded a TWA plane and crossed the beautiful Pacific where my next stop was Japan. There I learned that Larry Bradley was the United States Ambas- sador to Japan. His secretary was Dorothy Dixon, who has been his inspiration to success. One of the most intriguing countries that I visited was India and I was so glad when I learned that Patsy Kugler and Delores Rank were the owners of the hotel at which I stayed. The first afternoon I was there they asked me to tea and we certainly had a lot of fun talking over old times and things that had happened since then. My stay in India was cut short due to plane reservations already made, and my next stop was Spain. This is a beautiful country and one of the things I especially wanted to see was a real Spanish dancer. Iheard that the town's opera house was featuring just such an act and so I went. To my great surprise whom should I see in the first act but Larry Biggs. After the show I went backstage and asked to see him and we had a long talk. He said Roger Edwards had come to Spain with him, but had left when he received an offer from a band leader in Switzerland. Roger had accepted and was now on tour. I really liked the country of Spain but due to a shortage of time I had to go on. Next on my schedule was a visit to Africa and I was not sure I wanted to stop there knowing it was called the Dark Continent. But when I heard that Eldon Miller was head engineer of the new construction work going on there I knew I would have to see what our Mr. Indian had accomplished in his chosen field. I was astounded to find that this continent was a place of beauty enhanced by the new highways and bridges built by the construction company. He told me that Larry Hines and John Shull were working for him, and I asked if I could talk to them but he said he had sent them back to the States for supplies and machinery. The time had come for me to start home as my allotment of time and money was running out.. There was still one country I fell I could not miss and that country was France. So, l boarded a plane for Paris. What a place Gay Paree is! As I was driving into Paris from the airport I saw a huge sign spelling out Colwel1's Pizza Riviera. I had a wonderful time talking with Joyce and eat- ing one of her famous pizzas. She had made quite a name for herself in Paris. The trip was finally at an end and I was ready to start for the United States. On the way back I couldn't forget that Sarah and Wilma were the owners of a chain of world famous beauty salons all over the world. Yes, the class of 1957 had truly left its mark.
