BEN CAMP was a member of FCA, Y-club, Latin dub and NELS. He received the Interna- tional Foreign Language Award and was nominated for Gover- nors Honors. He was selected to Who's Who and received a Ga. Cert, of Merit. He participated in Football, baseball and basket- ball. KIM HA YDEN was a member of Science Club, Racquet Club and NHS. She has been on the basketball and tennis teams. She was selected to Who's Who and received a Ga. Cert, of Merit. She has also received the Na- tional Leadership and Service award. Century III Scholarship award, Presbyterian College Jr. Achievement award and Ga. Inst, of Tech Science Scholar award. She was also a nominee for Governors Honors. RANDY GRAHAM was a member of Science and Latin Club. He also was on the Math Team and Science Bowl Team. He received the Ga. Cert, of Merit and was a Governor Hon- ors alternate. He also is a Na- tional Merit Semifinalist. EVAN JONES was a member of the Racquet club and newspa- per staff. He was on the Track team for 4 years serving as cap- tain for 2, he was also on the swim team. He was selected to Who's Who and and went to Boys State. He is an alternate for Westpoint and he plans to major in History or Prelaw. GRACIA WALKER was a member of NHS, FCA, Racquet club and was on student council for 3 years. She was a cheer- leader her sophomore year and was 4th runner up on Home- coming court. She particpated in Governors honors and was Ex- change Club Student of the Month. She received a Ga. Cert, of Merit and was selected to Who's Who. In debate she placed 2nd in extemporaneous speaking. She has made national honor roll as well as all A honor roll. VALERIE HUNTER partici- pated in Data Processing Work Study and received a Spanish award. She made the honor roll also. She plans to continue in theocratic education and in the business field.

SCOTT NICHOLS was a member of Y-club, NHS and the marching band in which he was drum captain. He received a Ga. Cert, of Merit and has been on the A-B honor roll. ROD LIFE was a member of Explorers, SIA and Career in Engineering Club. He has played football all through high school and was chosen most valuable player against Bwk. High. He also received a perfect attendance award 9th and 10th grade. He plans to major in com- puter science. INGRID OVERMAN was a member of NHS, Drama club and CBVE. She participated in Governors Honors and received a Ga. Cert, of Merit. She also made A and A-B honor roll all 4 years. She plans to attend col- lege and major in special educa- tion. DEWITT WEAVER was a member of NHS, ICC, FCA and a member of student council for 4 years. He has received many awards which include U.S. Stu- dent Council Award, National Leadership Merit Award, Ga. Tech Distinguished Mathemat- ics Scholar, Glynn Academy Math Analyses award, Ga. Cert, of Merit, DAR award, and U.S. Leadership award. He played basketball for 3 years and has received the most improved player in golf the past 3 years. He received the Columbus In- terscholastic Invitational Champ award and was individ- ual state medalist. He also was chosen as city commissioner in Youth in Government Day. KIM MCLEMORE was a member of FCA, Science and Racquet club. She was on Annu- al staff and served as editor her senior year. She was on Student Council for 3 years serving as executive board president her senior year. She has also re- ceived the National Achieve- ment Academy Award for the past 2 years. PAGE PLOECER was a mem- ber of Latin, Booster, FCA and NHS. She has been a cheer- leader for 3 years serving as co- captain this year. She has re- ceived the Ga. Cert, of Merit and Ga. Tech Science award. She was nominated for Governors Hon- ors and selected to Who's Who. She was 2nd runnerup on Homecoming Court and has made the A and A-B honor roll. 20
