Watch Out City Officials, Here We Come! Once a year, the seniors of both Glynn Academy and Brunswick High have a chance to experience what it’s really like to be mature and act old for a day. Youth in Government Day is when senior students, elected by their peers, take the places of the city officials for a day. There are many places to be filled, such as; Mayor, Police, and Fire chief, city manager, public works, and city commissioner. The day is filled with excitement and decisions. All of these students were shown all of their particular official’s offices. Who knows, maybe they learned a lot.
