TOMMY SHUELER was a member of the Science. NHS, Racquet, Newspaper staff, Math calculus, and ISS. He re- ceived a Ga. Cert, of Merit, participated in the Gov’s Honors program for two years. He plans to attend the US Air Force Academy to become an Air Force pilot. BILL THOMPSON was a member of the Racquet Club. Science club, FCA, NHS. and the G.A. tennis team. He was selected for Who’s Who among Amer. High school students and Who's Who among Amer. High School Sports. He was a semi-finalist for the Gov’s Honors program. He participated in the state tennis tournament. He also received a Ga. cert, of Merit, and was voted Most Likely to succeed. He plans to attend UGA and major in Business Adminis- tration. BYRON VAUGHT was a member of the Math team. NHS. and Student Council. He received a Ga. Cert, of Mer- it and the Youth Merit Award by the Rotary Club. He was in the marching band and also played football. He was an A B student. He plans to attend Ga. Tech, and obtain a degree in engineer- ing. DIANA WEEKS Was a member of FCA. and NHS. She received Gov’s Honors in dance. Ga. Cert, of Merit, and was selected for Who’s Who and the Dist. Amer. High School student. She plans to attend NYU to major in dance. ROBIN WALKER was a member of FCA. cheerleading. Annual staff and NHS. She was selected for Who’s Who. and she received a Nat’l Leadership Merit Award. She plans to attend Con- verse College to become a buyer. CATHY WEAVER was an officer in the FCA club. She was a member of the Archaeology club. She was a finalist in the NCTE Writing Contest, she placed in the G.A. talent show. She has been the Sweetheart Queen and runner up. She was 1st runner up on the home- coming court and elected as Most Tal- ented of the Sr. class. She was also on the Newspaper staff. She plans to at- tend UGA and major in journalism.

DONNA LEGGETT was a member of the Y-club, Booster and FCA and was also on Student Council. She was a member of Who's Who. She was on the sweetheart court and on the homecom- ing court also. She plans to attend UGA and major in special education. LAURA MANNING was a member of the Student Council and also of the Ex- ecutive Board. She was also a member of the NHS, FCA. and was named for Who’s Who. She received a Ga. Cert, of Merit and was nominated for Gov’s Honors. She was elected Most Likely to Succeed in the Sr. Class. She received a DAR Good Citizenship award. She at- tended Girls State. She plans to attend UGA and major in Business Adminis- tration. BRYAN O'NEIL was a member of the FCA. SCIENCE. IRC. and ICC clubs. He competed in many prepared public speaking contests and received many awards. He was elected as state VP of FFA and was also elected for Who's Who, and he received a Ga. Cert, of Merit. He plans to attend UGA and ma- jor in Agri. Engineering. HELEN PACKARD was a member of the Student Council. Booster Club, and of the FCA also. She attended Girls State and received a Ga. Cert, of Merit, and was listed for Who's Who. She was an A B student. She plans to attend UGA. MARY MCGEACHY was a member of the Student Council. She was also on the Annual Staff. She participated in the Optomist Oratorical Speech Contest and was a state finalist. She was select- ed for Who’s Who. and participated in Youth and in Government Day. She was voted Friendliest in her Sr. class. She was a member of FCA. Booster, and Inter Club Council. She plans to at- tend UGA and major in Broadcasting. DEBBIE RUEHLING was a member of the Math team. Science Club. NHS. Drama, and the Calculus team. She re- ceived a Ga. Cert, of Merit, and was se- lected for Who’s Who, Gov's Honors and was selected for ASDHSS. She was an A B student. She plans to attend Clemson Univ. and major in chemical engineering.
