Biology, Physical Science. MR. JAMES B. McKINZIE B.S., Florida Southern College; M.S., Clemson College. Chemistry, Physical Science. Extreme importance is being placed on chemistry and physics, for a knowledge of these two subjects is becoming more and more essential in our rapidly progressing atomic age. Besides learning the basic principles related to matter and energy, the students are acquainted with laboratory techniques, the use of specialized scientific equipment, and advanced research topics. These subjects are prerequisites for future scientists, engineers, and physicians; but those interested in other careers will also profit by gaining a better understanding of man’s physical environment.
