ON TOP OF THE ROCK People have many reactions towards being a Senior. Some feel no change from their first three high school years, while some suddenly exper- ience a great feeling of superiority. Some say they have no feeling, remarking that it is hard to stay enthusiastic after four years, but most feel this should be their best year of all. The majority of Seniors feel they should leave their mark, reflect- ing their supremacy and feeling of being number one. Combined with the good feelings, there is also a feeling of regret about the end of the high school years. Some want to have a good time in their Senior year but have to look ahead to college. It can be a good feeling to leave C.H.S. behind, but its often sad at the thought of leaving behind so many friends. Reflections of the past combine with concern for the future. For some there is pressure in the transition from high school to a future of work. The process of entering a new stage of life has begun for Seniors.
