l STEMPFLE EVELYN r'Wh6f'6'U67' the Roman conqueri, there be dwells. In her desire to impress upon us, her students, the importance of learning, Miss Stempfle leaves upon us traces of her unforgettable zeal and enthusiasm for her work. Latin is sometimes called a dead language, but Miss Stempfle's quick wit and effervescent personality have aroused her students from their lethargy and brought to life once more the glory that was ancient Rome. Her untiring efforts to help, praise, criticize, and correct, and in so doing to inspire her students with higher ideals and love of the fine arts have been greatly ap- preciated by all of us. It is because of her dedication to the task of molding young minds and of making GHS the school we love, that we, the class of 1959, proudly dedicate our Oracle to MISS EVELYN STEMPFLE
