JU IOR During the afternoon of May 2, the decorating committee prepared the Boulevard School audi- torium for the big event. The throne reflects the Oriental theme, Shangri-La. The chaperones enjoyed meeting each couple as they entered the exotic surroundings of the Orient. Arthur Ferguson, principal of GHS, and William Male, superintendent of schools, looked on as the couples danced. Other chaperones were members of the Board of Education and families of the officers of the junior Class. After the crowning of the King and the Queen, couples were organized to form the grand march. Boys in white dinner jackets and girls in evening gowns portrayed a colorful picture as they marched around the auditorium.
