For the first time in five years the team won the Class B championship. This was due in great part to the snappy ball handling and sharpshooting of Cap- tains Tom Nigro and Dick Semprevio. Bob Miller, Bill Pozefsky, Pete Cirillo, Walt Van Brooklin, David Rostron and Nick Simon were responsible for a good share of the points. Several'of the games were thrillers, outstanding among which were those with Saratoga, Nott Ter- race, and Scotia.
