Q4 Q 6:2111 We, the rnernbers of the class of '49 fwe hopell, being of sound mind thall and body, do hereby bequeath to those lovely occupants of the Iunior and Sophomore homerooms, the following: 1. Pat Bronk and Ioan Potenti leave the memories of those bee-u-tiful early fall and spring days when the temptation was too great to skipg so they did. 2. Ierry Muldoon Mahoney leaves Mr. Latshaw the task of waking up some other bright Iurrior boy in his first period class next year. Muldoon kept you in practice didn't lie? 3. Ed Petrak and Bob Beebe leave the poor, helpless lunior and Sophomore girls all, all alone-tch! tch! We know you'll miss them, girls. 4. Nancy Conover leaves her motto: One life-one love to Dolores Schwarz-A Carry on. 5. Bill Van Duesen leaves Mr. Latshaw'-V-in peace! It's been fun, tho', Sunshine. 6. Mary Alice will always have fond memories of Act Ill, Scene lll-they just couldn't seem to get that kiss right and we just had to keep rehearsing it! CH-m-m-m!!l 7. Val, Claire, Tootie, Red, Arden, and Ieanne leave what's left of their voices to next year's squad- especially Bev g she'll need it. 8. The Senior Play cast and committees leave fond memories of their unique party. Well, at least it smelled goody huh, boys? 9. Those ''girls-who-qet-togethereevery-Thursday-night- and-form-clubs leave fond memories of food and fun to their up and coming sisters, be good! 13. Kenny Oare leaves his ad-lib ability in speech class to next year's students. It came in pretty handy, didn't it, Ken? 14. Kay Batty, our Miss Mademoiselle, leaves her VUBLI - QS' 3 C4 r Witt .QQ .7 miniature height and towering abilities to Marilyn Rossi. Good things come in small packages. 15. Round Ron Hawley leaves his love for Schlitz to son freref' lack. 16. Ralph LaPorta leaves his super-srnooth dancing and the bunions that go with it to any boy with thick soles and strong feet, Have fun! 17. Val Bown leaves her string of beaux and the fun she's had getting them to Betty loan Morrissey. Don't choke on them! 18. Walt McLachlan leaves his noteso-innocent-as-it looks grin to anyone who can use it. 19. We leave memories of our surprising football season to next year's suad and . . . remember . . . Look sharp and you profit well- -. 22. Sandy Warner, the Steward, leaves the muscles he developed pushing those trunks around on stage: we'll never forget you . . . son! 23. To Miss Connors, the cast leaves a big box of pretzels and an apple for rehearsals. Have fun. 24, Pat DeRizzo leaves the school in one piece! Will wonders never cease?? 25. Mary Maxson and Claire Couture leave the G-ville-I'Town relations in very good condition. Nice work, Qirls. 26. Iohn Rekemeyer and Beverly Weaver leave the torch they have held so steadily to Eleanor Berhaupt and Jimmy Cook. Hold it high. 27. Kiki Cerasia leaves his book, H1000 Apologies for Teachers, to every lower classrnan. You'll need it in the days to come. And so, we leave the school- -the study hall and the library, the halls and the lockers, the fun and the tests, the teachers and the friends. We leave our names carved on the walls and the desks and in the heart of G.H.S. We've gained some knowledge, some friends. We've grown up here together. We won't forget you- GLOVERSVILLE HIGH!
