You should have seen It after Ann and Emma Dallman hxed tt up Wllh a brand new sltp cover One of the glrls needed a doll so the propertles promptly sup phed a Panda no less' The advert1s1ng staff certamly put the play over wlth a BANG They gave us such good pubhctty that every seat was sold for both the matmee and evemng performances As chalrman Dons Green dld a swell Job of gettmg the ktds organ1zed and keepxng them runntng smoothly On the b1g ntght of the play Aprll l5 l peeked through the curtalns and saw the usherettes they really looked neat They all had on even1ng gowns and looked l1ke slx dreams walk1ng Anne Donnelly and lamce Fay were prompters and Whenever we shpped up they d1d a grand 1ob ot gettmg us on the beam agam Some of the h1gh spots 1n the play were the love scene IH the hrst act between Olga and Hans Cvery I'9CIl1Sl1CI'l the hght scene between Fehce Marton and Erna was very well done I thought Erna was QOIUQ to get murdered but everyth1ng turned out all r1ght 1n the end Another excellent scene was the very last part ot the play when Erna read the last letter from her mother ln Germany She read 1t so well and there was so much mean1ng 1n It that tears came to my eyes Everyone sa1d they enjoyed the play a great deal and lm terrtbly sad that you couldnt have seen 1t ICOIIIIIIIIEKZ on Page 37 fllf 61211 721776 0 J f Q 1' 1 , 1 E, 1 -f , 1 , ' , .4 I , ,. . , .
