FIRST: We leave all our memories of the last four years lboth good and badj to the Juniors, Sophomores, and Fresh- men we leave behind. SECOND: We direct that the twelfth grade's troubles, worries, distress, uneasiness, pains, annoyance, and disturbance of mind, due to our, study and anxiety of leaving Glover Consoli- dated High School, be left to our dear friends, the Junior Class. THIRD: We give and bequeath the twelfth grade's intelligent, honest, thoughtful, and understanding teachers to our dear friends of the Junior Class, FOURTH: We give and bequeath the twelfth grade's lovely room, with beautiful pictures, and comfortable chairs to the boys and girls of the Junior Class. FIFTH: We the students of the Senior Class give and bequeath to the students of the following things: Frankie Pearl Burran leaves her vanity to Faye Richardson. Every boy born is evidence that God is not yet discouraged of man--- so Billy Earl Shaw leaves his height to Kenneth Bolch. Bill Hogan leaves his ability to get into trouble and heart troubles to Frank Meador. L. B. Vaughn is very good in Math as he knows what figure comes after one. He says, All of 'enri' so he leaves his Math knowledge to Billy Edd Peterson. A boy is a piece of skin stretched over an appetite so L. E. Minter gives his appetite to Benford Stuart. Girls are like flowers---when they fade they die so Ivleda Ann Pyle leaves her lipstick and rouge to Joyce Merle Gregg. Elrner Richardson leaves his masterful attitude to Ferrell Minter. Bobby Jack Minter leaves his corny jokes to anyone durnb enough to laugh at them. Emma Jean Beal leaves her giggles to Wonnell Henley. Rose Marie Henderson leaves her smiles to Louise Womack. In witness whereof, we hereunto set our hand and seal this 30th day of May, in the year of our Lord, 1951.

In the ninth grade our homeroom teacher was Mrs. Lena Beathard and again to our joy we had another problem in Mathematics---that of addition. We were indeed glad to add Bobby Jack Minter to our class. We had different teachers for each sub- ject in high school. It was like breaking hold of our mother's apron string---we had been accustomed to one teacher guiding our trembling toes over the bumps along the way but now with several teachers to guide us we felt that the world was ours just for the asking, but we found it wasn't as we had to really work as well as dream. Mr. Frank Beathard took the F. F. A. Boys on a trip through south Texas. In the tenth grade Mr. Beathard was our homeroom teacher. We added Emma Jean Beal to our class. As Sophomores we realized that we were still pursuing the path of education as our school work was harder each day. Miss Gladys Vickers was our amiable homeroom teacher in the eleventh grade We were dignified Juniors. This was a memorable year for several reasons: Mr. Earl Lock took the F. F. A. Boys to Galveston. The F. F. A. Boys with Mr. Earl Lock and the F. H. A. Girls with Miss Vickers, Mrs. Jeff Davis, and Mr. J. C. Merriwether went in a bus to the Fat Stock Show in Houston. Glover boys won first place in the county meet in basketball. These and many other short trips made our Junior year an enjoyable one. ln our twelfth year of school Mr. Earl Lock is our teacher. We now have the distinction of being called Seniors. What an honorf One that we have looked forward to for twelve long years. What we had set out to accomplish in 1939 has become a reality in 1951. During our last six years we have been under the strict supervision of Mr. Elmer Langham, our superintendent. We have striven to conduct ourselves so that Glober Consolidated High School shall have benefited in some slight degree by our stay. Although we may have fallen short of our attempted goal, at least we have tried: and it is more praiseworthy to have tried and failed than not to have tried at all. At last we have arrived at the goal which twelve years ago seemed so im- measurably distant. . We entered school assured of kindly expert guidance with qualified supervising teachers. We leave to enter the vast school of experience in the work-a-day world, with no guide but our own intelligence and no teacher save the experience we are about to acquire. Having shared one another's joys and sorrows, successes and failures for so long, let us keep happy memories of our years together.
