p . .. . s , We the officers and crew of the USS GLOVER take pride in dedicating this cruise book to the memory of our friend and shipmate, SN Mike Hogan. Last November on a warm Saturday aftemoon, Mike was doing what any other sailor would be doing on such a day, enjoying a well eamed day off. Sadly, Mike's life came to a tragic end when he was struck dovim by a car at a Crosswalk in downtown Ocean View. Mike, who was a friend of us all will always be remembered as being an easy going, friendly type of person. At work and on liberty he was everybody's friend. He gave 100 percent all the time. Mike faithfully served the Navy onboard USS GLOVER from June 1985 th rough November 1985. Mike Hogan is sorely missed by his friends here onboard GLOVER. - Goodbye Mike, R.l.P. RMI5 Timothy L.
