EDITOR As our high school career comes to its conclusion, it is hoped that this Flicker will serve as a reminder of our happiest and most fruitful years at G.H.S. The editorial staff has attempted with this edition to offer a complete senior year experience, representing a departure from preceding formats in that a total academic year has been presented. Many of your fellow students have contributed to this Flicker, and it is most difficult to list our entire student body; however, special recognition should be given to Thank you all, Brent R. Gilson Editor uuooiV a i ayi ic, wui layuui cuiiwi , ai i iuoci nai ic wuma, our financial editor. These classmates gave countless hours of their time to the creation of your 1979 Flicker.

DEDICATION This 1979 Flicker is dedicated to Mr. Leon Sprague of the guidance department. We as graduates are truly grateful to all those educators who have helped us along the way. Mr. Sprague deserves special praise and recognition for his efforts in our behalf over the past four years. Upon graduation many of us can only look back with respect, admiration and profound gratitude for this man’s deep concern for our well being. We have been truly fortunate as individuals, as a class, and as a community in having this public servant, watching, counseling, guiding and in many cases shaping our post high school careers. Mr. Sprague’s career as an educator, and more specifically as a counselor, must be a source of deep satisfaction to him for the fruits of his labors over the years have been felt throughout our entire commu nity. Many of our graduates and non-graduates have benefited by his efforts and concern. He has been a molder of careers and life styles not only for our class but for the many classes that have gone before. Mr. Sprague’s dedication to his work and to his fellow man deserves our highest praise and heartfelt thanks. To Mr. Leon Sprague we humbly dedicate our 1 979 Flicker.
