THEY SERVE US Our Cafeteria Staff Miss Helen W. Morton is the dietician in charge of our cafeteria. Planning our meals and seeing that the cafeteria runs smoothly are among her tasks. Keeping the students of Gloucester healthy is certainly a full time job. Mrs. Olson our school nurse, whose doors are always open to the ill students at G.H.S., allevi- ates our minor aches, pains, and complaints, dis- penses sympathy, and is able to assist us in any emergency. We should like to thank her for her service to us. Without the help of the vast world of litera- ture and reference material available in the Ernest W. Fellows Library, the class of 1967 would have had a difficult time indeed com- pleting four successful years of high school. For the great variety of material offered, and most especially for the cheerful efficient as- sistance given us by our school librarian, Miss Dorothy Londergon, we seniors will be forever grateful. 15

FLOORMASTERS MR. J. VINCENT ELMER In addition to being a proficient Latin instructor, Mr. Elmer also has the responsibility of being the second-floor supervisor. To succeed in both of these positions requires both understanding and patience. Because of Mr. Elmer’s obvious possession of these qualities, along with his sense of humor, he has won the respect and honor of the students of G.H.S. MR. VERNON C. HOOPER Mr. Hooper serves both as third-floor floormaster and as a teacher of mechanical drawing. It is his duty to see that all matters on the third- floor run smoothly. Under his supervision are such matters as tardiness, absence and discipline of stu- dents on the third floor. Mr. Hooper is also in charge of the busing of Essex students. All G.H.S. students will fondly remember their days spent on the third floor with Mr. Hooper. MR. RICHARD C. BERGERON Mr. Bergeron’s duty is to maintain order on the first floor. Among Mr. Bergeron’s responsibilities are record- ing absences and tardiness and disci- pline of first floor students. Mr. Berg- eron is a busy man, yet has time to take our interests seriously. Mr. Berg- eron is also an English teacher. 14
