BUSINESS EDUCATION DEPARTMENT The Business Education Department is headed by Mr. Alge Vaitones. Students taking business courses receive ex- cellent training that enables many of the graduates to as- sume jobs in the business field immediately upon gradua- tion. Other students go on to receive further education in other fields. However the skills and training they receive from this department are invaluable in their chosen voca- tion, whatever it may be. The development of selected busi- ness skills in the classroom enable the business student to take his place confidently in the business world. THOMAS J. MILITARY DEPARTMENT It is the mission of the Military Department to instruct all male students in military history and policy, military organization, and basic training of the Infantry soldier, under the capable direction of Army Instructors. The results of this training can be seen in the marked improvement in the bear- ing of the students as they walk the streets, an increase of self-respect, a consciousness of self control, and a clearer idea what enters into the make-up of a well-developed man.
