CQ Sincere 7 ianJ? y ou Miss Marjorie Gale from tAe students of dfoucester JitcjA cScAooA As this school year draws to a close, the seniors are not the only ones planning to leave Gloucester High School. Miss Marjorie H. Gale, an English teacher and the Director of Extracurricular Activities, is bringing to an end many years of service to the students of Gloucester High School. Miss Gale will long be remembered by her students not only as a gifted, interesting teacher, but as a kind understanding ad- visor and friend. Besides supervising after-school clubs, she had charge of all the activities that make the senior year exciting and memorable; she served ten senior classes as Flicker advisor. The entire student body of Gloucester High School joins in a sincere thank you to Miss Gale. It is our hope that she will find her retirement restful and enjoyable, and that she will remember us as fondly as we will remember her.

FLOORMASTERS Mr. Vernon C. Hooper As freshmen we all met Mr. Vernon C. Hooper in his position as third floor supervisor. Mr. Hooper runs the third floor with the discipline and effi- ciency also found in his mechanical drawing classes. Mr. Hooper has a great interest in education, and because of this he has served on the Essex School Committee. Mr. Richard C. Bergeron As first floor supervisor Mr. Richard C. Berg- eron’s duty is to maintain order on the first floor. Mr. Bergeron is to be congratulated this year be- cause aside from his responsibilities in recording attendance and tardiness, he has seen to it that all first floor lockers are locked. Mr. Bergeron is a busy man, yet has time to take our interests seriously. Mr. Bergeron is also a teacher of English. Mr. J. Vincent Elmer Mr. J. Vincent Elmer is in charge of attendance, tardiness, and discipline on the second floor. Mr. Elmer is a well-known figure on the second floor, whether he is in the office or instructing students in Latin. Mr. Elmer’s character and concern for his students have won their confidence and friendship.
