Mr. Arthur N. Smith, Principal TO THE CLASS OF 1965 You are far and away the largest class ever to graduate from Gloucester High School; the largest by some seventy-five members. Your numbers have made necessary a graduation procedure entirely new and different to this school. You have attended this school during the longest high school day ever used in Gloucester, and with the school in its most overcrowded condition. In other words, you are a class of superlatives. Your understanding, your patience and your cooperation have been major factors in permitting such a smooth school year as we have had. Keep these qualities, and the spirit which engenders them, and your lives will be the better. If we can continue to help you, let us know. Good luck to you. Arthur N. Smith Principal Miss Hodgkins assists our busy principal.

They Serve Us The Cafeteria Staff Miss Ross, our school nurse, whose doors are always open to the ill stu- dents of G.H.S., alleviates our minor aches and pains, dispenses sympathy, and is able to assist us in any emer- gency. We should like to thank Miss Ross for her years of excellent serv- ice. Without the help of the vast world of literature and reference material available in the Ernest W. Fellows Library, the class of 1965 would have had a difficult time indeed completing four successful years of high school. For the great variety of material offered, and most especially for the cheerful efficient assistance given us b y our school librarian, Miss Dorothy Londergon, we Seniors will be forever grateful. Miss Helen W. Morton is the dietician in charge of our cafeteria. Planning our meals and seeing that the cafeteria runs smoothly are among her tasks. Keeping the students of Gloucester High healthy is certainly a full time job.
